Parent/Teacher Organization
One of the main objectives of the PTO is to promote the relationship
of home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of the children. The school
depends heavily upon parent involvement and one of the ways that parents can participate in their childrens' education is
by becoming involved in PTO meetings and events.
The
PTO organizes most of the fundraisers. With the fundraising money the PTO finances field trips, school parties, buys
school supplies for the classrooms and equipment for the children. These are just some of the many areas that the children
benefit from the funds the PTO raises.
