Step One - Initial Application

The order in which your completed application is received will determine your ranking on the list for testing and interview. The following completed items should be forwarded to the admissions office:

1. Family Application 2011-2012 (click to download)

2. Student Applicaton 2011-2012 (click to download)

3. Application fee of $50.00 per child (non-refundable)

4. Maryland State Physical form signed by your child's physician

5. Copy of Birth Certificate

6. Copy of Social Security Card

7. Copy of custody agreement if parents share custody

8. Copy of Transcript and/or Report Card from last school year

9. Release of record form from any therapists or tutors your child may see.  Please note - while we do admit students with mild disabilities, we do not have specialized therapists on staff.  Therefore, the school and outside therapists must have full disclosure and meetings in order for your child to have success in school.

10. Release of record form from last school attended.

Step Two - References

The following reference forms should be returned to us by the individuals who have completed them:

- to be completed by the child's previous teacher.

3. Pastor Reference Form (click to download)

- if you are currently not members of a church, then please submit two personal reference forms.

 

Step Three - Testing

Your child will be scheduled for placement testing that is administered by Cambridge Christian Academy teachers.

Step Four - Meeting with Administration

The final application step is a meeting with the new family and Cambridge Christian Academy staff.  Many times this can be scheduled the same day as testing.  The purpose of this meeting is to further familiarize you with CCA, to discuss our vision for Christian education, and to answer any other questions you may have.

Step Five - Admissions Committee Meeting
The Admissions Committee is comprised of the principal, a senior teacher, and a school board member.  All the above items will be reviewed to determine if CCA is the best placement for your child.  We will contact you via phone and mail as soon as we meet.

Step Six - Before the first day of attendance
1. We need four forms completed:
  • Emergency contact form
  • Financial Agreement form
  • Student Code of Conduct
  • Parental Responsibilities
